Team Managers,

Certificates are now available to download via the TM Dashboard. To access them, you will first need to review any infringements recorded against your teams.

Please note that these infringements will be considered at the Section Committee meeting in September. It is important that you take time to review them and use them as learning points during your training sessions for Ten Tors 27.

Sun 10 May 2026 — Car Parking Update

All parking tickets have now sold out. Please do not travel to Ten Tors without a valid parking ticket.

To help keep traffic flowing smoothly, please ensure your ticket is printed and clearly displayed on your dashboard before arrival.

If you entered your vehicle registration number (VRN) incorrectly when booking, please have your booking receipt ready to present at the vehicle check area.

Tue 5 May 2026 — A Message from the Naval Helicopter Pilots

HORSE RIDERS

Horse riders are advised that there will be an increase in low‑flying helicopters operating around Dartmoor this week. It is often difficult for aircrew to see horse riders from the air, so please assume that if you can see a helicopter, the crew may not be able to see you.

Wearing high‑visibility clothing while riding can significantly improve your visibility to helicopter crews. Aircrew will always do their utmost to avoid riders when they are able to see them.

Riding in the vicinity of Okehampton Camp is discouraged due to ongoing helicopter operations from the site.

DRONE FLYING

The operation of drones presents a serious hazard to low‑flying helicopters. Drone flying remains prohibited over the Military Estate. If a drone operator hears an approaching helicopter, they must land their drone immediately and keep it grounded until the aircraft has passed. Any drone activity that does not comply with these rules will be reported to, and dealt with by, the police. 

 

Tue 5 May 2026 — Vehicle Passes

If you do not receive your ticket by email (please check your spam/junk folder), use the ticket retrieval page before contacting the Ten Tors team by email.

If your VRN has changed, or you entered it incorrectly, bring a copy of your receipt and vehicle pass with you. On arrival, you will be directed to the vehicle check area where you will be able to update your VRN.

 

Fri 1 May 2026 — Ten Tor Challenge Photos

Event photos from the Ten Tors Challenge will be available at www.photo-fit.com. You can subscribe for updates by clicking “Get Started,” and browse images from previous years in the archive section. Best of luck to everyone taking part!

Team Managers – parking passes for teams will be available from Tuesday, 5 May at 09:00.

 

Mon 27 Apr 2026 — Carpark tickets

Carpark tickets will be available today from 0800 at a cost of £8 for Saturday and £8 for Sunday. You can purchase passes using the following link: www.tentors.org.uk/parking

If you do not receive your ticket via email (check your spam/junk folder) please use the retrieval page before emailing the Ten Tors email address.

Spaces are limited, and once sold out, no further tickets will be issued. Please do not travel to Ten Tors without a valid car parking ticket. ANPR will be in operation, and vehicles without a ticket will be turned away.

Support vehicles attending on Thursday and/or Friday do not require a pass, but they must depart by Friday evening.

Any support vehicle remaining at Okehampton over the weekend will need a pass—covering both Saturday and Sunday if staying for the full weekend, or just Saturday if departing that day.

 

Fri 24 Apr 2026 — Dartmoor National Park Association Fire Warning

DNPA have raised the fire state from Amber to Red for this weekend, and they expect it to remain at this level until there has been a period of sustained rainfall.

While DNPA are not concerned about Ten Tors teams deliberately starting fires, they are worried about how quickly a fire could spread across the moor in the current windy conditions.

 

Thu 16 Apr 2026 — Car Park Update

Finalised Parking Plan:
Due to increased vehicle numbers and traffic issues at Ten Tors 25, the traffic management plan has been thoroughly reviewed for Ten Tors 26.

Team Parking Pass:

  • Each team receives one Parking Pass via the Team Manager dashboard.
  • This pass grants full access to the event car park and must be clearly displayed on the vehicle dashboard. 

General Sale Tickets:

  • Limited tickets available for general purchase, including limited disabled tickets (valid blue badge required and must be displayed).
  • Tickets are only sold online in advance; vehicles without a valid ticket will be turned away.
  • Tickets go on sale at 08:00 on Monday, 27th April at www.tentors.org.uk/parking.
  • Cost: £8 per day for Saturday and £8 per day for Sunday (no weekend passes).
  • Spectators attending both days must buy separate tickets for each day and display them accordingly.

Team Support Access:

  • Team support personnel and vehicles may arrive on Thursday from 06:30.
  • Those leaving on Saturday must hold a Saturday pass.
  • Those staying for the entire weekend must hold passes for both Saturday and Sunday.
  • Support vehicles not requiring parking on Saturday or Sunday do not need a vehicle pass.
  • Passes must be displayed on the vehicle dashboard at all times. 

Important:
The increased parking fee covers the cost of a professional traffic management company and an ANPR system. All general tickets require a Vehicle Registration Number (VRN) at the time of purchase. If your VRN is unknown or changes before the event, your vehicle will be directed to the vehicle check car park, where you will be required to show proof of payment.
