Engagement Village
The Engagement Village is your opportunity to get hands on, ask questions, and explore real world opportunities in a safe, welcoming environment at Ten Tors.
Throughout the event, serving personnel from the British Army, Royal Navy (including the Royal Marines), and Royal Air Force will be on hand to talk about what they do, why it matters, and how key skills such as leadership, teamwork, resilience and problem-solving are developed through training, daily work and operations around the world.
Whether you’re curious about future career pathways, interested in cadets or education, or simply want to experience some impressive kit up close, the Engagement Village has something for everyone.
See. Try. Experience.
Visitors can explore a wide range of interactive displays and hands on activities, including:
- Aviation, communications, logistics, medical support and combat power
Featuring representatives from the Infantry, Army Air Corps, Royal Logistic Corps, Royal Signals and Royal Army Medical Services, showcasing how modern operations succeed through teamwork and specialist skills. - Maritime and air operations
Learn about life at sea, air power and commando operations with the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery and the Royal Air Force. - Simulators, technology and live performances
Test your reactions with e gaming and simulators, enjoy live music from the Army Ensemble, and speak to personnel from Army Recruiting Group and Military Preparation College about education routes, apprenticeships and future opportunities.

Community, Cadets and Partners
The Engagement Village also brings together trusted partner organisations, including St John Ambulance, 4x4 Response, Dartmoor National Park and other civilian organisations. Together, they highlight the importance of volunteering, community service, resilience and teamwork beyond the Armed Forces.
Young people can also learn more about the cadet experience with:
- Devon Army Cadet Force
- Cornwall Army Cadet Force
- Royal Navy Sea Cadets
These organisations help young people build confidence, self discipline and practical life skills in a structured and supportive environment.
Staff from Headquarters SouthWest will be available throughout the event to answer questions and help visitors understand how the Armed Forces and partners support young people from first interest through to future opportunity.
