Storm Ingrid is forecast to bring further rainfall to the moors overnight, adding to already high water levels across the area.
Team Managers (TMs) are advised to remind teams that river crossings are likely to be difficult this weekend. Planning and group management must take current and evolving conditions into account.
ECM will be monitoring river awareness and observing activity around red Out of Bounds (OOB) river sections while deployed on the moors. Any non-compliance will be recorded and will be treated seriously given the prevailing conditions.
